Tixivent is software for issuing and scanning tickets. It is not a bank, escrow service, or marketplace that holds guest funds. Stripe is used only to collect Tixivent Pro subscription fees — not guest ticket money.

Ticket money does not flow through Tixivent

Tixivent does not process credit-card ticket sales. Guests pay organizations (or the seller named on the order) by Interac e-Transfer, Zelle, or cash. Staff confirm that payment arrived before tickets are issued. If a payment fails, is reversed, or is sent to the wrong person, that is between the guest and the organization — not Tixivent.

Tixivent Pro is billed by Stripe

If you subscribe to Pro, Stripe Checkout collects that fee. A successful Stripe payment is required before a self-serve upgrade. Failed or cancelled checkout does not change your plan. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment form.

Organizations run their own events

Event details, prices, meal choices, discounts, and door policies are set by the organization. Tixivent does not guarantee that an event will occur, that a venue is safe, or that a ticket will be accepted if the organizer changes their process.

Use the payment instructions on your Tixivent order. Do not send money to an address that is not shown there.
