Privacy Policy

Tixivent is event ticketing software for organizations. This policy describes how we handle information when you use Tixivent websites and related apps.
What we collect
- Account details you provide: name, email, password (hashed), organization name, country, and payment contacts such as an Interac email or Zelle handle.
- If you subscribe to Tixivent Pro or Pro+: billing email, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, billing interval, and payment status. Card numbers stay with Stripe.
- Event and order data your organization enters: events, ticket types, meals, add-ons, guest names, emails, phones, payment method, and check-in history.
- Technical logs needed to operate the service: IP address, device or browser, and timestamps on sign-in, uploads, and API calls.
- Files you upload, such as an organization logo or event cover image, stored with our hosting provider.
How we use it
We use this information to operate Tixivent: create your organization, sell and confirm tickets, send email or SMS you configure, issue QR tickets, check guests in at the door, and (for Pro) bill your Tixivent subscription through Stripe. We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to train unrelated advertising products.
Who sees it
People in your organization with the right role can see that organization’s events, orders, and tickets. Guests see their own order and ticket pages. We use service providers to host the app, database, file storage, subscription billing (Stripe), and (when you enable them) email and SMS. Those providers only receive what is needed to perform that job.
A small set of Tixivent platform operators may access organization and order records to provide support, investigate abuse, or keep the service secure. When an operator opens an order for an organization they do not belong to, guest contact details (name, email, phone, and payment instructions) are masked by default. Revealing those details for support is logged.
Payments
Ticket money does not flow through Tixivent as the merchant. Interac e-Transfer, Zelle, and cash stay between the guest and your organization (or the seller named on the order). We store pay-to instructions and confirmation status so tickets can be issued. If you connect a card payment account (such as Stripe, Square, or PayPal) through Tixivent, guest card details are handled by that provider on your connected account; we may store connection identifiers and payment confirmation metadata needed to issue tickets. We are not your bank and we are not the merchant of record for guest ticket charges.
Tixivent Basic, Pro, and Pro+ are separate subscriptions for the software. Those fees are collected by Stripe as our payment processor. Stripe receives the card or wallet details you enter on Stripe Checkout for the subscription. We receive confirmation of the subscription (customer and subscription identifiers, plan, billing interval, and payment status) so we can unlock the paid plan. We do not store full card numbers on Tixivent servers.
If you opt an event into Discover, basic public event details (such as name, time, venue, cover image, and organization display name) may appear on the public Discover page.
Retention and your choices
Organization owners can update profile, branding, and team data in the dashboard. You may ask us to export or delete an organization’s account by emailing support@tixivent.app. We keep logs for security and abuse prevention for a limited period.
